Is this 80G receipt generator really free?
Yes. It is a free public tool with no signup - fill the form and get a print-ready receipt. It is meant for NGOs not yet on Donateazy, or for a quick one-off. Is the generated receipt a valid 80G certificate?
No. This tool produces a donation acknowledgement marked SAMPLE. It is not Form 10BE, which the Income Tax portal generates after the NGO files Form 10BD. Donors need the 10BE to actually claim the deduction. The full Donateazy software issues auto-numbered receipts under your NGO's authority and exports the 10BD that produces those 10BE certificates.
What details go on an 80G receipt?
The NGO name, address and PAN; the 80G URN; the donor name (and PAN if available); the amount in figures and words; the payment mode and date; and a statement that the donation is eligible under Section 80G. This generator captures all of them.
